Naya Goreto (NG) informs all the viewers that NG has done contract with Lalitpur District Development Committee (DDC) on 3rd May 2016 in skill development project among key population. Within this project, NG will be conducting several programs like Handicraft Training, Initiating agriculture for changing their life style and make quality life for the survival in future.
Naya Goreto (NG) has extended contract with Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City (LSMC) on 3rd May 2016, for the continuation of the program “Training on Parental Gaudiness on Drug Use in adolescent age”. The project aims to educate the parents to prevent their children about cause of drug use and role of parental gaudiness in adolescent age.
According to the United Nations, Nepal’s massive earthquake on April 25, 2015, has affected 8 million people across 39 districts. Many families have been displaced, homeless and under food and water shortage. During this critical time, Naya Goreto is planning to rehabilitate those who are in real need. Presently, we are collecting the data of most vulnerable individuals who have double burden of being a People Living with HIV (PLHIV)/People who Use Drugs (PWUD) and homeless.
Therefore, we humbly appeal you all to join us in our earthquake related initiative especially for PLHIV and PWUD and their family members who lost everything. Your generous efforts will certainly help this key affected population to rehabilitate.

Naya Goreto is pleased to announce its new social venture on Naya Goreto Recovery Home for substance dependency.
For the past twelve years, Naya Goreto has been working with People Who Use Drugs (PWUD) and People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLHA). The organization is grounded by its vision of by and for the PWUD and PLHIV community.
Through an extensive private research, NG has discovered a need for rehabilitation centre that is a safe haven for people suffering from addiction. There is also a need for affordable and quality treatment home. Therefore, keeping it at reasonable cost and using latest skills and techniques, our multi-disciplinary addictions counsellors and medical professionals adapt to serve personal treatment needs of the clients with utmost care and support. In addition, our qualified staffs will also seek out for any symptoms of common co-occurring disorders such as bi-polar disorder, depressions, anxiety, personality disorder and many more that are concurrent with substance dependency.
It will serve as a place where everyone can feel safe, hopeful, optimistic, and have sense of purpose in life. Furthermore, it will be a drug/alcohol free environment, where therapies, counselling, productive learning and recreational activities can help a person rejuvenate their power within.
To fulfil the goal of empowering one of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities, NG has been collecting seed fund from its employees and members for the past three years. The total amount collected till-date is Rs. 416,000/-.

Naya Goreto (NG) has extended contract with Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City (LSMC) on 1st December 2014, for the continuation of the program "Orientation Classes on Drug and HIV for school and college Students”. The project aims to educate youth on illicit and harmful drugs and blood borne diseases such HIV and AIDS. In addition, it also aims to empower the Drug Users community through conducting the educational session at schools and colleges of Lalitpur District.

Naya Goreto (NG) team had built a good coordination with RHD/DPHO to effectively implement the TB reach program in 10 districts of Nepal as well as conducted the orientation for the volunteers to mobilize them in field level to reach the PLHIV and other vulnerable groups for early TB case detection thus NG volunteers has started the screening among PLHIV from 3rd July in Far-western Region.
The NayaGoreto (NG) is pleased to announce that it is implementing TB REACH project funded by WHO Stop TB Partnership; and it is in the process of hiring the project staffs for successfully implementation of this project on time. The work of the TB reach project team is early TB diagnosis among PLHIV and among other vulnerable groups in various districts of Nepal namely Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Palpa, Baglung, Kaski, Rupendehi, Doti, Accham, Kailali and Kanchanpur. The project is expected to be completed by 15 November 2015. Interest candidates can apply for available post announced in the vacancy section.
