Orientation to political parties’ leaders to resolve the PWUDs issues as their party agenda

Naya Goreto is conducting orientation program with different political parties leaders for the project "Bridging the Gap: Health and Rights of key population" funded by Youth Vision/Mailnine. The program will be conducted on 18th August 2013 at Cafe de Patan in Mangalbazar, Lalitpur. The program is intended to garner support from political parties to adopt the PWUDs issues as their party agenda.  Further the program also aims to encourage the political parties’ leaders to raise the issues at GOs level.

Sensitization program with Wards Secretary Committee members

Naya Goreto is conducting Sensitization program with Wards Secretary Committee members of ward-7, for the project “Bridging the Gap: Health and Rights for Key population” funded by Youth Vision/Mainline. The program will be conducted on 15^th August 2013 at ward office in tagal, Lalitpur. The program is intended to ensure the health issue of key population at their yearly planning from ward level.   

Advocacy Program with Ward Health Implementing Committee (WHIC)

Naya Goreto is conducting advocacy program with Ward Health Implementing Committee members for the project "Bridging the Gap: Health and Rights of key population" funded by Youth Vision/Mailnine. The program will be conducted on 19th July 2013 at Cafe de Patan in Mangalbazar, Lalitpur. The program is intended to ensure the health and human rights of PWUDs from grassroots level.  Further the program also aims to push the WHIC members to raise the issues at their committee level.

Naya Goreto informs all the viewers that for the project "Nepal National Strategic plan 2010-15, Implementation STOP TB strategy", Naya Goreto is going to conduct following program in Gorkha District:

1. NSP No.8.9.1. Organize workshop to develop/revise district level ACSM plan
2. NSP No.8.2.1. Identify partner organization (NGOs and CBOs) and reinforcement their capacity to facilitate ACSM activities in new target districts
3. NSP No.8.3.6. Conduct various TB awareness activities among migrants, and internally displaced groups
4. NSP No.8.3.7. TB awareness activities among ethnic minorities, dalits, and other unreached groups by TB
5. NSP No.8.3.10. Conduct school health program on TB ?(through Child to Child Approach)
6. NSP No.8.3.14. Organize community awareness campaigns in urban slums using community mobiliser
