The program will be conducted on 29th May 2013 at Cafe de Patan in Mangalbazar, Lalitpur. The program is intended to garner support from members of Lalitpur Health Network in dealing with the issue of drug users. Further the program aims to encourage the Lalitpur Health Network to adopt the issues of drug users as their institution strategy.

The program will be conducted on 24th May 2013 at Cafe de Patan in Mangalbazar, Lalitpur. Further the program also aims to encourage the political parties' leaders to raise the issues at GOs level.

The program will be conducted on 21st April 2013 at Cafe de Patan in Mangalbazar, Lalitpur. The program is intended to garner support from members of SWD/PHC in dealing with the issue of drug users. Further the program aims to encourage the members SWD/PHC to raise the issues of drug users at GOs level.
Naya Goreto is commemorating World Tuberculosis Day by organizing week long programs including awareness, orientation, interaction programs including Street Drama, exhibitions on TB, HIV and TB/HIV co-infection. The major objective of our program is to extend the local peoples, school childrens, women groups and mothers group members, drug users knowledge on the issue of TB, HIV and TB/HIV co-infection. Further Naya Goreto will express it's heartfelt condolence to one of the outreach staff of Naya Goreto who passed away recently on his thirteenth day of passing.
Naya Goreto is conducting Training programs to key population on empowerment of the drug users on human rights under the project "Bridging the gaps: Health and rights for key population". The main objective of the program is to empower the drug users on their rights and advocate for securing their rights at the local level and other government and private service providing agencies. The training will incorporate the issues like social integration of the drug users, roles and responsibilities of the government agencies like District AIDS Coordination Committee, Ward level, Ward Health Implementation Committee etc. The program will also aware the target groups on the basic human rights. The program will be conducted on 18th March 2013, (5th Chaitra 2069) at the hall of Etee youth Club, Lagankhel. The training will be facilitated by Mr. Anil Thapa (DACC coordinator), Mr. Ashok Shrestha (Social Welfare Division head/Lalitpur Soub Metro Politan City), Mr. Nabin Maharjan (Social Activist).
Naya Goreto is planning to conduct Voluntary counseling and Testing training/ HIV counseling training with the government medical officials of Illam district. The basic objective of this program is to build the capacity of the government health officials of Illam district in the field of HIV, TB and other related diseases. Further the stigma and discrimination related to HIV is intended to decrease through the empowerment of the medical officials of Illam district especially from the service providers as well as increase in the knowledge of HIV among other general people. The program will be conducted in the third week of the month of March 2012.
